Effective date: November 1, 2026 · Last updated: November 1, 2026

Everything published on ServSafe Practice Exam is for general information and exam practice. By using this site you accept this disclaimer.

Our detailed statement about what this site is and is not sits on the Scope and Independence page. This page covers the general legal position.

1. General information only

The content here is intended to help you practice for an exam. We take care to get it right, but we make no representation or warranty that it is complete, accurate or current.

2. Not official ServSafe material

ServSafe is a registered trademark of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Restaurant Association. Nothing here is official guidance and nothing here has been approved by it.

Where our content differs from what ServSafe publishes at servsafe.com about its exams, follow ServSafe.

3. Not food safety, medical or legal advice

This site does not provide professional advice for any real workplace. It does not replace your employer's training and procedures, and it is not medical advice about food allergies or alcohol.

The FDA Food Code is a model code, and states and local agencies adopt and amend it differently. Alcohol laws differ by state. Your local health department and your state alcohol agency decide the rules that apply to you.

4. No guarantee of exam results

Using this site does not guarantee that you will pass a ServSafe exam or receive a certificate. Our practice questions are written by us from primary sources and are not the official exam questions.

5. Accuracy and changes

Exam formats, pass marks, course details and state rules change, and there will be periods when this site is behind the official position.

Our Sources and Methodology page lists what we could not confirm, including the lack of a published pass mark for the Allergens exam, where 75% is our own practice target.

6. Third-party content and links

We link to external websites for your convenience. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content or accuracy, and a link is not an endorsement.

7. Advertising

This site carries no ads today. Advertising is planned. An ad on this site will not be an endorsement of the product or service advertised.

8. No endorsement of products or services

Mention of a course, book, app, training provider or exam location is not an endorsement or a recommendation that it is suitable for you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on this website, including a failed exam, lost earnings or wasted fees.

Nothing here excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. This does not limit any rights you have under the law where you live.

10. Use at your own risk

You use this site and rely on its content at your own risk. If you need certainty, go to the official source before you spend money or make a decision.

11. Governing law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
