These terms govern your use of ServSafe Practice Exam at https://servsafepracticeexam.com. By accessing or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Topic quizzes and one Manager mock exam are free. Accounts and subscriptions are optional. Buying a subscription is covered by our Terms of Sale and Refund Policy, which form part of these terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using the site you confirm that you accept these terms and that you will comply with them. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is aware you are using the site.

The site is operated by The ServSafe Practice Team, a small independent publisher, publishing as ServSafe Practice Exam. Contact: [email protected].

2. What the service is

We provide practice questions and timed mock exams for the ServSafe Manager, Food Handler, Allergens and Alcohol exams. Topic quizzes and one Manager mock exam are free. A monthly subscription unlocks the timed mock exams in that plan.

We are an independent publisher. We are not ServSafe or the National Restaurant Association, we cannot schedule exams or issue certificates, and our practice questions are not the official exam questions. Our Scope and Independence page sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.

3. Accounts

You can create a free account with an email address or with Google sign-in. Keep your password to yourself: an account is for one person, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Please tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.

We may suspend or close an account that is shared, used to copy content in bulk, or used to get around the free limits.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.

4. Subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold under our Terms of Sale, and our Refund Policy applies to them. Payments are processed by PayPal.

5. Permitted use

  • You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial exam practice.
  • You may link to our pages and quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back.
  • Employers and training providers may direct workers or learners to the site.

6. Prohibited use

  • Copying, scraping or republishing our question bank, explanations or PDF packs, in whole or in substantial part, whether or not for commercial gain.
  • Sharing a PDF pack stamped with your email address with anyone else.
  • Using automated systems, bots or scrapers to extract content or place unreasonable load on the site.
  • Presenting our content as your own, or as official ServSafe or National Restaurant Association material.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers or any connected system, or introducing malicious code.
  • Any unlawful use, or use that infringes the rights of others.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 Our content

We claim copyright in the practice questions, explanations, design and code on this site to the full extent the law allows. All rights are reserved.

7.2 Third-party rights

ServSafe is a registered trademark of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. We use the name descriptively to identify the exams we help you practice for. No affiliation or endorsement is claimed or implied.

7.3 Copyright complaints

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, please see our Copyright and Takedown Policy or contact [email protected].

8. No guarantee of results

Practicing here does not guarantee that you will pass any ServSafe exam or obtain any certificate.

Our questions are written from primary sources and are not the questions you will see on the exam. A score here does not predict your score on the exam.

9. Not professional advice

Content on this site is educational practice material. It is not food safety, medical or legal advice, and it does not replace your employer's training and procedures or the rules of your local health department or state alcohol agency.

Do not rely on a practice question when making a decision that affects anyone's safety. Follow your employer's procedures and the law where you work.

10. Accuracy and availability

We check our facts against primary sources, but rules and exam details change and errors happen. Content is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

11. Third-party links and advertising

The site contains links to third-party websites, and advertising is planned. We do not control those sites or any products advertised, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. That includes a failed exam, a certificate you did not obtain, lost earnings, lost opportunity, and any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. This does not limit any rights you have under the law where you live.

13. Indemnity

If you use the site in breach of these terms and that causes us loss, you agree to reimburse us for reasonable costs and claims arising directly from your breach.

14. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The Last Updated date above shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

16. If part of these terms cannot be enforced

If any provision of these terms is found by a court to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the rest of the terms continue in full force.

If we do not enforce a right under these terms right away, we can still enforce it later.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. This does not limit any rights you have under the law where you live.
